Volunteer FAQs
- What volunteer positions are available?
The volunteer positions we currently have available are:
- Checkpoint Challenge Volunteer
- Registration & Finish-line Volunteer
- Route Marshall
- Volunteer Driver
Additional positions may be announced closer to event day.
- Do I need experience in order to volunteer?
No, but it definitely helps! As long as you are energetic, willing to help out and a positive influence on those around you, we want you on our team. We provide onsite training and you will always be with a supervisor.
- What time do I have to be there? Until when?
Most volunteer positions will require you to be there from about 7am to 4pm.
- How do I get to the location?
We will pre-arrange rides. If you have a car, we might ask you to make you own way to the volunteer position or drive your fellow volunteers.
- How and where will I receive my orientation?
Prior to the event, you might be required to meet with us so we can discuss your volunteer position and sign a privacy waiver. You will receive further training & instruction on event day. But don’t worry, we would never leave you hanging!
